Delete The Divide (DTD) participated in SoCalREN’s Future Green Leaders Summit on 3/15/23 at the LA Convention Center. The Summit targeted middle school students in low-income and disadvantaged communities to expose them to and educate them about different green career pathways in sustainability and clean energy they may have not been introduced otherwise – through exhibition booths, speakers, and workshops, with hands-on activities and discussion sessions related to energy sector careers. DTD handed out over 750 swag bags with resources to our programs offerings and the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to 1,800 students from 100–150 LAUSD classrooms in disadvantaged, hard-to-reach, and low-income communities.
