These digital inequities disproportionately impact lower income households and communities that are predominantly Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities with lower educational attainment, and older adults (ages 65 years and older). In today’s society, a computer and reliable internet service are essential to accessing education, employment opportunities, healthcare services, financial resources, support networks, and commerce.

Community Impact
Delete The Divide made a profound impact on the community this year through initiatives such as laptop giveaways, free IT Certificate opportunities, and successful intern to employee transitions, among other significant achievements.

Meet The Interns
DTD has employed more than 280 interns.
The Delete The Divide Internship program provided more than $5,751,000 in salaries to interns, which allowed them to gain real-world work experience and develop their tech skills, while also making it possible to contribute financially to their households.
Of the 106 interns seeking full-time employment, to date more than 30 have accepted full-time employment in IT and other fields, earning at least $50,000.
