Delete The Divide (DTD) participated in the “2nd Annual Young Black Empowerment Retreat” at Mount St. Mary’s University in Supervisorial District 2. Over 300 students from across LA County attended. This event is the result of DTD’s partnership with Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, and It’s Bigger Than Us. This event supported Black male students to encourage new life skills, critical thinking, and empowering messages from local government and private sector professionals. DTD led two workshops; one for middle school students and one for high school students.
