Meet Our Interns에 대한
In September 2022, the Internal Services Department (ISD) began hiring for the Delete The Divide Internship Program. All positions are civil service appointments with the County of Los Angeles. In December 2022, the program received State certification as a pre-apprenticeship in accordance with California Labor Code § 3100 (DAS File #101042). This State certificate can be used to connect the interns with registered IT apprenticeships nationwide. Additionally, this important designation will help interns qualify for entry-level positions in the technology industry and expand their career pathway opportunities.
Interns may have an opportunity in computer and information technology industries to prepare them with the skills and networks needed to pursue a technology-related career. Offerings include hands-on technical experience, exposure to cutting-edge technologies, mentorships, career development, free certificate-based training, and professional networking opportunities.
Interns may participate in conferences, corporate tours, and community outreach events. These immersive experiences are designed to promote comprehensive development and impactful connections.
